What to do with leftover meds?

I still have 2 Gonal-f pens, 900 units each, one box of Menopur and a Leuprodide trigger kit. I feel like I have enough stuff for another IVF which luckily I don’t need. What are you guys doing with your leftovers?

I will keep any I don't use. The use by dates are usually pretty far away so could be useful for the future . Someone really needs to sort out the system though. So many meds must be wasted worldwide.

I was able to donate my leftovers to my fertility clinic! And it turns out I actually knew someone who needed that donation program, super rewarding!

I gave them to a friend that was going through ivf. She was a full cash patient and my insurance covered mine. She showed we her prescriptions and I knew exactly where she was going.

Definitely try and donate them at your clinic! I don’t have any coverage through my insurance for fertility treatment. The donated meds really helped to keep the overall cost of all my meds much less than what it would have been! I’m forever grateful to whoever donated their extra meds!

If you don't think you are going to do another stim cycle any time soon, your clinic might take them as a donation.  We had the option to donate any extra meds to go to women with extenuating circumstances, like women with cancer who are ttc.

Many of my fresh cycle meds were donated to me by folks like you from my clinic! Since my insurance covers none of this. (So far we are $22,000 deep)

I donated mine to the fertility clinic and they give them to patients with no infertility coverage.
