My 7 month old son was evaluated by PT last week because I noticed that his muscles seem tense a lot. For example, when I hold him he puts his arms back (like airplane arms) and the PT said he is doing that to try to stabilize his upper body. He was breech, literally in the same position the entire time in my womb and the PT said it is likely from that and he will be fine with some therapy. He rolls over but hates to be on his belly (he also has reflux) and he grabs for toys. He can sit up with assistance but only for a few seconds before toppling over. I am very concerned, especially after allowing myself to google and finding a lot about cerebral palsy. My husband and I are planning on taking him to a neurologist. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance.
