So the other day I went to pick my daughter up from nursery and I arrived a little earlier than I usually do and they were sitting down and eating dinner so I lingered around outside for a couple of minutes then went it.

When I walked in to the room where my daughter was I saw one of staff throwing the food ( toasted muffin) into the kids bowls and when I say throw I mean the babies were all sat round a little table and she was stood up.

She was asking them all if they wanted more and when they said yes and lifted up there bowls she then threw the food Into the bowl like scraps to the dogs with absolutely no care or anything and she was doing this while I was stood in the room watching and it makes me wonder what goes on when I’m not there if she feels like that is acceptable behaviour and the other member of staff didn’t say anything to her either!

Am I over reacting?

I just don’t like to see that I mean I send my daughter to nursery to learn manners and social behaviour aswell as having fun

To me that is not what I expect and I certainly do not throw food at my daughter in such a way

What do you guys think? Am I being mardy and over reacting or would you think the same as me?
