Have boyfriends/husbands who “game” and find it to be annoying as hell? Maybe it’s because we’re new parents but he’s trippin if he thinks he’s going to play like this all the time as our son grows up. I don’t want my kid sitting on the couch playing video games for literal hours. Ugh just super frustrated and ready to unplug his device mid game lol

I don’t mind that my husband plays in all honesty, he works full time to support us while I’m at home with the baby! It’s sort of his down time, he helps when he can with our son but to be honest I don’t mind playing the mom role 24/7 I like the way I take care of our baby and I know that things get done right and he stays on schedule!

nip it in the bud now so you won’t have to deal with it later. as much as we don’t like to admit it our babies are already picking up our habits and imitating what we do. you should have a conversation with him about it now and tell him to get out of he habit asap. you can replace “game” time with family time and that can include taking walks, play at park, board games, swimming, etc. and if your man does it to be alone tell him to either do it so baby can’t see (in another room, basement, at friends, etc.) or find a different more rewarding “alone time” activity.

Nope, we both play video games so we try to work out times that we both get to play. It’s tons less then it used to be, but regardless what it is you gotta talk about it and work out and agree to some rules and a schedule. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes! He’s gotten better at keeping it off when she’s awake cuz we’re trying to really limit screen time and she spots it if it’s on no matter where she is in the room. But this means he plays when she goes to bed.... and keeps playing almost ALL NIGHT LONG so never wants to get up with the baby in the morning and struggles when he Has no choice cuz I’m back to work. It’s so annoying cuz she’s so sweet and active in the morning and he will just want to put her in the bed with him and go back to sleep because he’s been up till 3-4 playing his stupid game 🙄

Husbamd and YES at times.. we have twins that turn 3 in october and our 5 month old.. hes a great dad but when he zones in that game 🤦🏼‍♀️ FML lmao
