Anyone lost their mucus plug and bloody show same day as labor started?

I feel like I'm in early labor but I haven't had any blood or anything. Trying to decide if I should have hubby come home from work early.

The mucous plug is one of the more unpredictable labor signs. Seeing it does not always mean labor is beginning and you can definitely be in labor with no sign of mucous yet. Contractions that increase in pain/frequency is really the only way to tell (well and water breaking) that labor is starting! I had a similar experience as the other commenters. Mine did not come out til very active labor in the hospital.

I didn't loose mine until I was way into the labour prpcess and 9cm dilated.

Lost mine and thought I was have Braxton hicks...three hours later my water broke 🤷‍♀️

I didn’t lose mine until I was 6cm and in very painful active labor with my first. Lost it like 5 minutes before I started pushing with my second.

I lost bits of mine for the last few weeks of my pregnancy, and my son came a week late.

I started have contractions before I lost mine. And had my son 12 hours after I lost the majority of my plug.

My first two I don't know when I lost my plug but the dr had to break my water both times.  My third one I had my membranes stripped that day (oh my pain!  The dr that did that knew what the heck he was doing!) I had started having contractions and decided to take a nap. An odd popping sound/sensation woke me up. Went to the bathroom and mucus plug was out within 2 hrs baby was born. Barley made it to the hospital before she was born. But I have been blessed with fast easy labors.

My sister lost hers but still didn’t give birth until 2 weeks early, mucus plugs don’t really predict active labor, it can regenerate as well. The one to worry about is water breaking. If that breaks they say you need to deliver within 24 hrs to prevent infection
