Sex Every Day or Every Other?

Question

In order to optimize chances of conception, we're supposed to baby dance day before, day of, and day after ovulation, right?? But then I get these pop ups saying "oh you had sex two days in a row? Did you know that sperm reach optimal motility if you baby dance every other day?" It makes me feel flustered! 
Should we be having sex 3 days in a row around ovulation, or skip a day? So many rules and I don't know what to listen to!

My understanding is the old advice was every other day because they thought that sperm needed to build up but more now research shows that built up sperm is more potent but actually less motile so therefore useless anyway. Now the research based recommendation is if you’re ttc there’s NO SUCH THING as too much sex. Even if the male has sperm issues. But if you get burnt out BDing every day then every other day is almost just as good!

I work at an OBGYN that also specializes in fertility and high risk pregnancies and the docs always tell people every other day but when they get even a faint positive opk to have sex daily for the next 3-4 days and then go back to every other day. When you’re between your period and ovulation skip a few days immediately following your period (of course while using opk’s so you don’t miss ovulation) to build up sperm.

I’ve read to not have sex about 4 days before ovulation so sperm is at its max, but then I would definitely do it 3 days in a row while ovulating 🤷🏼‍♀️

It is quite confusing, but what We did this time was skip three days before my fertility window then did it every day sometimes twice a day during :)
We have three children already and for me having sex every single day during the ovulation window works .
- first month ttc our 4th 
Period is due in 12 days so here goes the tww 😁
