I need help choosing my makeup, just please help me get started!

So I'm a beginner (I'll soon be 13) and I'm interested in make up but I wanna go as simple as possible. I would like to just do foundation and concealer and MAYBE blush and so please tell me, what good foundation and concealer can I get for twenty some dollars or lower (I'd prefer lower)? But also do you think that that's the best way to go "simple"? Also here's a story: I once tried on my moms concealer and foundation and then I washed it off with makeup remover but the next day I got some acne or pimples or something or my face which I'm guessing was most likely from the makeup so my question is: should i put some kind of moisturizer on my face first cuz I hear that's a thing I guess? So bottom line is, WHAT SHOULD I DO?? Also any tips on removing makeup and what's bronzer, lol? But thanks a lot, I know I'm asking a lot.😂😂
