Constipation!! Help??

Does anyone suffer from constipation? I have been drinking a lot of water but nothing seems to help. I get severe pain in my left hip that goes to my back I went to the hospital 2x because of this they only give me stool softener which isn’t helping me actually go.. I heard miralax works, any luck for you ladies ??

Only thing that worked for me was introducing metamucil into my diet. I’ll drink a glass every night before bed. If it’s really bad, I’ll take collace (a stool softener. It’s completely safe for pregnancy) and it REALLY helps!

If you've been taking a stool softener for a few days, I recommend taking a Dulcolax. It's a stimulant laxative. I was constipated for almost 2 weeks, and nothing worked. I took colace for about 3-4 days and then took the Dulcolax. I pooped everything out a few hours later.

Try taking Psyllium Husk powder in water twice a day. That helped me a lot. There are many different brands like Metamucil for example.

Try a small amount of milk of Magnesia when you realized you haven’t pooped for two days. A small amount like 10 ml every 4 hours. Drink lots of water and try to squeeze in veggy smoothies with fruit every so often.

Actualy i am having bad constipation too. But the only thing that looks like it workes for me is eating okra. I made kinda of soupe with them and they work magicaly.
