Monster in laws 😟

So my boyfriend and I had our first kid together 5 months ago, a beautiful baby girl. We're not married, so his mother isn't really my mother in law but she definitely feels like it.

I let her take my daughter for a couple hours the other day and while she had her she fed her half a banana without telling me and complained I didn't feed her enough. A real banana not a jar of banana baby food. She was telling my boyfriend, I needed to start feeding her baby food a lot more and ween her off a bottle. Who does that at 5 months?!

Does anybody else ever have trouble with the in laws?

Poor baby already has acid reflux and she was throwing up all day because of that banana. I tell her all the time she needs to ask me before she tries to do something new with my daughter. This same woman called my baby dumb underweight because she couldn't roll over on her back by 4 weeks old because her son "rolled over on his own" that early. She begged me to have an abortion and nearly disowned her son after trying to convince him it wasn't his child.

She swears she knows better than any pediatrician and she thinks she knows everything and is always coming at me with bullshit. When I try to say something I'm wrong. She knows best because she raised 2 kids. I just needed somewhere to rant! Sometimes she makes me feel like such a bad mother.
