What to expect for a c-section w/ twins

C-section mommas. I’m scheduled aug 2nd for a c - section. What should I expect? I’ve never had one before and I’m sort of freaking out 😰 I had an NST today and I was contracting a bit but not enough or close enough to do anything, is there a chance I would go on my own and reliever naturally. Babies are head down but doctor didn’t give me the option when he scheduled.

I had a scheduled c section with my twins and I’d do it again in a second. The scariest part to me was the spinal block, but looking back that wasn’t bad either. The worst part was getting VERY nauseated at first, but then that wore off. I didn’t feel anything.. like nothing. No pressure or pain. Afterwards, I was pretty sore, but just took 800mg ibuprofen around the clock. It took about 3 weeks to not hurt everyday, and even now at almost 15 weeks pp I still get a little pain, but overall, it wasn’t as awful as I thought it’d be. Good luck! You’re going to do great!

I’ve delivered both ways and I would do vag again but since my daughter was an emergency c-section my twins will more than likely be a c-section as well. I’d say the worst part of the whole thing was freezing my ass off otherwise recovery freakin sucks so make sure you have help and family around. Good luck 🤞🏼
