Would you be upset or am I overreacting?
Took my daughter into the doctors today for thrush, they sent in a prescription for her mouth, then wrote one for diaper rash cream because for some reason they weren't able to send that one electronically.
I had some other things to do, so about an hour later I get to the pharmacy and gave them the written prescription. She looked it up and told me they have to actually mix that one so it would take a bit and I would have to pay before they are able to mix it. Okay, that's fine. So I asked if they knew how long it would take, like should I wait around with baby or should I go home and just come back later.
She said she would call me later, sometime in the afternoon, but I could take the oral medication that the had ready. So I asked if I should pay for both of them, since I have to pay before they can mix it. She said no.
5 hours later now after I've been waiting to hear back, she called me and said they actually don't have the stuff to make it and won't until tomorrow. So I said okay, will you call me again when it's ready? She said well you need to come in and pay before we can even make it, so no. 🙃🙃🙃
She wants me to come in in the morning (or tonight, which isnt happening) to pay for it, before they have it, then wait probably all day again to go back out and get it when it's there.
It's so frustrating because (obviously) I have a newborn, I can't just leave the house for a minute it's a whole production to get everything ready, plus I have a dog with anxiety so theres a routine with her as well before I can leave, I don't get why she wouldn't let me pay earlier when I was there so I would only have to go out once now whenever they get it in. Contemplating just asking my husband to deal with it when he gets off work
