Do you have any experience taking this? Or know anyone taking it?

I took it a few years ago and never again. I lost weight on it, but I felt awful, like I was going to have a heart attack at any moment. I also gained twice as much weight after it.

I would query how many other countries have approved its use. It has a bad history. From someone who works in weight management, I would look at some of the other medications used to help with weight loss and maintenance that are safer and approved in more strict countries (i.e. countries that require extensive safety and cardiovascular studies). Contrave and Saxenda are two of these. Although they might be more expensive they might also be safer.

I’m currently taking it. It’s supposed to help you curb your appetite and lose weight. It shouldn’t be taken if you’re trying to conceive. It can cause birth defects. It can also cause all sorts of other health problems if you don’t drink enough water. That is why your doctor has to monitor you regularly.

Not personally but my brother takes it. Says it helps but don’t know how much he’s lost.. I see it though
