I make more than my boyfriend. We are about to have baby #3. I'm in a management position at my job and when I told him I'm pregnant he is only allowing me 6 weeks. He says his buisness cannot run without a manager for that long so he will have to find someone else if I have to be out longer than 6 weeks. We are in process of home buying. I dont know what our Bill's will be like but I make up about 70% of our income. He works full time but his checks aren't worth it. So I thought about what If he quits his day job so I can keep mine. He can watch kids during day and find a night job. He agreed to that. I just dont know if I should just take this time off to take care of my kids. Also not sure if he will step up to the plate and provide for all of us financially. I have to let my boss know by 2 weeks so he can plan accordingly. I'm not due until January. Should I only take 6 weeks and go back because the pay is keeping food and roof or should I put the pressure on my man to step up? I feel like if I go back he will find more reasons to procrastinate on getting where I need him to be. Advice.
