What age were you guys allowed to have your boyfriend/girlfriend sleepover?

I’m about to turn 20, my boyfriend will be 21 in a few months. We’re going into our third year in college. When we’re home, my parents let him sleepover. His parents would never let me sleepover, which is fine because it’s their house, but they don’t even let him stay at my house. (Well they let him, but it’s frowned upon and they get mad, which makes him not want to stay anymore.) It makes no sense to me. Besides, we go to different schools so when we visit each other we sleepover each other’s dorms anyway, and they know that. So what’s the point in not letting him stay over when we’re home?

I think his parents need to realize that he is not a kid anymore and stop trying to control his life. But he thinks my parents are the ones in the wrong and that if they were responsible they wouldn’t allow him to stay over. What do you guys think?

Edit: seems like most people don’t get what I’m saying. I’m wondering why his parents won’t let him sleep at MY house. Not HIS.
