Oh boy ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™„

So the first thing you need to know is my toddler is NOT a napper. Like ever. He goes to bed at 9pm and wakes up at 9am. And he has been this way for awhile. On those rare occasions that he does go down for a nap, even a short one, he will be up long past his bed time. I am 29 weeks pregnant and it was rainy and miserable yesterday so I was soooooo tired. And he was too, he was crabby and emotional so I decided after lunch we would take a nap together so I lay down with him in his bed because its twin size not a toddler bed and after him screaming in my ear for 30 mins I said ok come on we are going into mommy and daddy's bed to lay down with daddy, my husband works nights, and after 5 mins of being in there he is out cold so we had a nice 1hr and a half nap together. So I figured I would keep him up just a little bit later since he napped and started getting him ready for bed at 9 instead of 830. So around 930 I lay down with him for our usual go to sleep routine and after singing 6 songs telling him 3 stories and rubbing his back for 30 mins he will not fall asleep, at this point it is almost 11pm and I just wanted to pee eat a bowl of cereal and hang with my husband before he goes to work. Oh and cry I just wanted a nice long deep down inside of you kind of cry so I said justy you need to sleep I'm going to eat some cereal, hoping that my son would just fall asleep on his own. So I'm sitting on my bed eating cereal watching my husband play tripeaks on the computer when little man comes into our room so I just said eff it your just gonna stay up late with me. And that's when I lost it. I just started laughing hysterically. Like cant stop tears pouring down my face laughing ๐Ÿค— after my husband left for work I let my son sleep with me thinking well he should sleep in tomorrow morning so that will be nice. No. Hes up at 745. And his bed was soaking wet because there is a leak my landlord has been trying to find and fix and with all the rain it leaked above his bed. Yay. I'm just glad he wasnt sleeping in it at the time. Guess I needed a good laugh instead of cry. Yay parenthood lol! You would think that after being an mama for almost 12 years I would be used to it right?
