How would you feel about this? Student Tech on fresh open heart surgery on a baby

Ra

So my daughter had open heart surgery July 11th shes still in the ICU and today they brought in a "student" to learn how to echo her heart...I'm not thrilled because they have been doing this echo for an hour 20 minutes and my daughter that is 8 months is starting to get upset just laying there and the new guy keeps going down on her liver with the heart tech cutting up laughing saying that's no were near were he should be...for 1, we wasn't asked if this was ok to have a student learn on our daughter. 2, she's in the ICU I'm not comfortable with someone learning right now on my child while in the ICU that stuff can be done at doctors appointments just not now. I'm fine if they wanted to step back and watch the Tech. Do it and explain but I'm not thrilled with letting him actually do it and I realize everyone starts out somewhere but not with my baby in the ICU. I want professionals checking her heart right now just having her chest cut opened she just got her bandages off yesterday and her thick nose tube out of her nose cause her lungs was collapsed so as a mother I want the ones that are licensed to do this. I hope I don't get mean comments I'm just a mother wanting the best care for my daughter right now. Learning is for another day I want professionalism today. I told her nurse my my feelings and she completely agreed and didn't understand why we weren't asked and put it in her chart no more students. I finally had to tell the guy doing it I was stressed out and to please let the other Tech finish after he kept going away from her heart going everywhere but. I'm just very upset. Am I wrong for feeling this away? I would like to apologize if this sets someone off not my intentions very sorry.
