Should I go in?

I’m getting pretty mild contractions , since this morning I just started to time them I got one at 9:59am then one at 10:08am then another at 10:20am an another at 10:26am n another at 10:45am one at 10:55am n one at 11:02am . I’m doing my best to bare them ! My water has not broke will I still be able to go into the hospital without them trying to send me home ?

How long are your contractions? My doctor told me to go in when my contractions were 1 min long and about 5 min apart. Did your doctor say like that? If you feel you should go, then I say go, they will monitor and determine if you’re in active labor. Worse case you go back home, no biggie🤷🏼‍♀️

You can go but if you’re not dilating and it’s not real labor yes they will send you home. Most hospitals even if you are in labor won’t take you until about 4cm dilated so yes there’s a chance you’ll be sent home. It doesn’t hurt to go see though

I wouldn’t go to hospital until contractions are 5 mins apart, lasting for a minute for at least an hour. Trust me, it’s better to labor at home anyway. Download an app to help keep track, and try to relax and drink plenty of water!

I was told by the midwife when I rang to not go in until I couldn’t speak through a contraction and they were only a few minutes apart lasting a minute

Mine were never 5min apart but I did wait till they were very painful, like can’t talk, move, or want anyone touching you. I started throwing up when they were really painful and knew it was time.

Should I go in?
