Who has changed their look since having their little ones?

Question

I only ask here because, well, we have all been discussing a lot between each other. I have a hair appointment tomorrow and I am going for a new look. My baby is turning one in a few days and I usually feel like I need to go through some sort of cleanse for new beginnings. And I always do it through my hair.

I think that cut would look great on you! And the highlights! I haven’t done any major changes with my hair in a while, but I did cut like 4-5 inches off when she was like 6 weeks old. And I IMMEDIATELY regretted it lol. Cause I realized I would have to wear it up all the time once she could grab it😩
I dye my own hair at home too cause I’m going fully grey already at 35! I have a grey streak that I’ve had since I was 16, so I dye around it. But I’ve got crazy dark natural hair, so I’ve never looked good with highlights. I totally get wanting a new look for a new beginning though! I say go for it!

I had purple hair when my son was born 😝

And I have since added bangs and changed to red

And now I’m pregnant with my second and kind of considering lightening my hair gradually with a distant end goal of blonde (my natural color and also my son’s hair color!)

I wish I had the guts to do more than just a trim.. I just never know what I want. I look at pics of hairstyles and find ones that I think are cute but then I talk myself out of them and just end up getting it trimmed. Which, it usually needs it by the time I get around to the salon. I like mine long enough to put up so usually past my shoulders/down to my bewbs. I think it looks like it's about ready for another trim and I again I'm going thru the "should I change it up??". Lol. I just don't want something I can't recreate easily. I'm pretty lazy when it comes to my hair. I prefer to let it air dry, especially in the humid summer. So I just shower and brush it and wait for it to dry before I put it up.
Anyway! I think that style and highlights you posted are super cute so if you want it, I say go for it!!

I haven't really changed my hair since I was like 5 months pregnant. I have wavy curly thick frizzy hair! It's past my shoulders. I wear it in a bun most days because it's soooo hot!!! And Addison loves to run her fingers through it when I'm putting her to sleep. I haven't dyed my hair in years but I've been thinking since its been so long that I definitely need a change! Just nothing that requires a lot of up keep.
