Cosleeping families

Taylor

Do any of your babies sleep through the night?? I need some hope here 😂 My son is breastfed exclusively with baby led weaning starting but he gets up at least 3-4 times a night. He hardly eats because I probably only have a letdown once and I put the paci back in and he’s fine but he has to have the boob to start. 6 months and I’m hoping this ends alone. He naps in the crib but I kind of want to continue cosleeping for awhile cause I love the baby snuggles.

I honestly don’t know how many times my son wakes up in the night- I just sleep with my boobs out and he’ll find them and eat then go back to sleep lol he doesn’t fully wake up, he just roots around with his eyes closed and I don’t fully wake up either 🤷‍♀️

Man I wouldn’t mind doing that but I don’t think my son even moves around before crying

My baby has slowly dropped her night feeds. She still nurses if my husband moves the bed or if she wakes up to his work alarms but that’s about it. Of course some nights she still has a random set back but for the most part my little girl has been just dropping them on her own :) in the early morning I feel like she starts to nurse and nap a lot but that’s usually after she’s been down for 9 to 10 hours with the one feed when hubby gets up for work.

It was not always that easy!!!! It wasn’t til about three weeks ago that we get consistent type sleep! I’m praying she drops this last feed in the next month :)

I try suuuuper hard not to make eye contact and let her cry for a couple minutes Incase it’s sleep crying (she does this randomly and falls back asleep). If within a few minutes I still hear her I know she’s not asleep and can’t get back down. It helps increase some stretches. I don’t consider this CIO because she’s right next to me and knows I’m there to comfort her and it’s a dream reflux! I’ve noticed that when it’s sleep crying and I interrupt her settling herself she will be up for 2hrs ><

I just try paci first and if she sucks hard and fast then I know she's hungry and I will nurse her.

We co sleep as in sleeping in the same room. Because were in a one bedroom apartment until 3 months from now. But our 2 year old sleeps thru the night and our 6 month old wakes 2-3 times a night to eat.
