Glasses?

My left eye is 20/20 & my right eye is 20/50. Is this really abnormal? I know i'll definitely need glasses but i'm just wondering how the prescription works...would they do a prescription for only my right lens?

omfg i am the same case with left eye 20/20 and right eye weak AF. i got glasses last year March, and yes, only prescription in one eye

I would recommend contacts too if you can wear them. That way you just pop one in that needs the prescription 🤷🏻‍♀️ as for the glasses I imagine they would just put prescription in the eye that needs it and the other eye would be just glass or something.

My husband has one eye that’s really shitty and one eye that’s almost fine. He had to get a special kind of contacts (that are also for astigmatism). He has to wear them everyday but he’s doing fine. He did glasses for a while but they bothered him way more than the contacts. They also made his glasses wrong a couple of times (mixing up the prescription)
