So my husband has pretty bad OCD and a few physical disabilities. He only has one hand that works. He never masturbated like a normal guy. Now we need to collect his sperm to do a semen check and it is impossible. We’ve had to reschedule once already.

We are using a special condom that is made to collect while you have sex. This is what we thought would work best as he doesn’t masturbate.

He says he’s ok and then two days before when we have to have sex to get rid of the old sperm his OCD kicks in and he can’t perform or won’t. He’s too tired, etc. I know this is his OCD. My husband is a very caring man and has always done what he needs to do, but he can’t overcome the idea that someone is telling him to have sex on a certain day. We haven’t even made it to test day. Sperm has to be anywhere from 2-5 days old. So no more than 5 days between his last ejaculation and the test. Last month he baulked. This month he tried so hard tonight and just can’t perform. His OCD just won’t allow him to. If he can’t perform in the morning we will have to reschedule again. I’m starting to get frustrated, but know it’s not his fault. I don’t know how to get this sperm test done. I’m starting to feel we may never be able to do this baby thing.

He still has issues having sex on the days I need to for my peak fertility. Any advice?
