How often should boyfriend help with baby?

So I’m a stay at home mom about to go back to school and my boyfriend works part time about 25-30 hours a week. Since he works, I try to care for the baby( 3 months old) most of the time without asking him for help. I do almost all the feedings, nighttime included, almost all diaper changes, bath time, laundry etc. He holds her about an hour a night so I can wash bottles or if I need to use the restroom/shower but that’s pretty much it. Should he be caring for the baby more even though he works? I feel bad asking him for help but sometimes I feel like a single mom and I’m tired. How often do y’alls boyfriends/husbands help out?

If he's not gonna step up helping with the baby then he should be doing most of the housework. Part time is really not that much, he has time to do more.

He should be helping more. That's his child too, you didn't get yourself pregnant and if he doesn't learn now then he'll never learn. I work full time+overtime, my boyfriend works about the same. I watch the baby during the day (after work) and he watches the baby when he gets out. I work 7-3, he works 4-10 (12-11 on Friday+Saturday). Everything should be 50/50 or you'll grow to resent him or your baby or both, I promise.

Personally during the week we work half and half. We both have a child just not me, on the weekends is when he works the 12's and that's when I step in and do the extra work, but when he is not working I expect him to help with my child

My husband and I both share responsibilities for our daughter. When Im at work hes at home watching her and when he's works im at home. Find a balance with your boyfriend and talk to him about how you feel.

If it's his kid he needs to help more, hes a parent also! If it's not his, I can see where he might feel it's not his job to take care of the baby, but as tour boyfriend he ought to feel the need to help you out anyway. I'd sit down with him and talk about wanting more help from him!
