Breast pump??

With my my daughter I wasn’t able to breast feed due to my milk coming in late and latching issues. Now that I’m pregnant again I would love to try again, I’m not due until Feb 202. Which pump do you find works best? Also when do I start pumping and stocking up?

I have a similar story. My milk never came in and my son was just drinking blood at that point. I havent tried it yet but I bought a Baby Buddha which I'm so excited to use. My goal it to eventually work my way to exclusively pumping. There's a great Facebook group with lots of info.

1. When did your milk come in?
2. The most important thing isn’t the pump. If you had issues breastfeeding before the focus is nursing nursing nursing not introducing a bottle or pacifier and just nursing on demand introducing pumped milk can make it hard for baby to latch especially if your already not confident about feeding ques.
It’s best to have baby latched as often as they want no paci just nurse on demand. Get baby checked for tounge tie also 
It’s super tough the first couple of months constantly nursing every minute but it gets easier if you persevere

My insurance sent me a Spectra S1 and I loved it except that it had to be pluggged in. The S1 doesn't, but my insurance didn't pay for it.
I later bought the Baby Buddha pump and Freemie cups and love that combo. I can pump in public discreetly, and work while pumping. Thats a MUST for my job because I can't leave my employees alone every couple hours to go pump. I honestly only use my Spectra when I forget to charge my Baby Buddha now. I usually use the Baby Buddha with my Spectra flanges outside of work because they seem to help get the milk out faster than the Freemie cups.
I started saving up immediately and have a hefty stash in my freezer. I save it and use it for her baths and keep some extra packs in both grandparents freezers in case they need them.

You don’t need to stock up till you’ve established breastfeeding at 6 weeks unless you have to for work but you don’t want to have an over supply so you want your supply to work with your baby
