Hormone testing for recurrent miscarriage?

Question

So I’ve decided to pay privately for testing following 2 miscarriages but specialist didn’t mention hormone testing.
Should they be testing hormone levels to see if that’s a factor? 
I’ve seen people mention issues with thickness of uterine lining and progesterone as potential problems.
The specialist doesn’t seem to take follow up queries without massive extra charges!

As much as I hate saying this, I’d wait and see if the blood work shows something first.  I’m still waiting on my test results to come back for the same reasons. We have our baby tested and she was healthy and my dr has no idea why she passed. 
My aunt has a blood clotting issue and I’m thinking I have the same thing. You could very well get answers from the blood work.

Thanks so much, good luck to you. I think the blood clotting thing can be treated with aspirin/ heparin so fingers crossed they find out for you if that’s the case.
