Laundry detergent ?

What laundry detergent should I use to wash the baby clothes before she arrives ? Will ALL free and clear work?

We have always used all free and clear. Baby detergent is over sented for me

There's no need to change you detergent unless they have a reaction to whatever you use.
My babies did so everything is washed with all free and clear. My clothes, all towels, their clothes, linens, etc.

Just use whatever you use. Shes going to be exposed to it as you hold her anyways, no need to buy special stuff.

Check out the EWG website for some good suggestions that are nontoxic. All free and clear is a popular detergent, but it has some questionable ingredients so it’s not the safest option (although it’s better than most scented ones). I switch between Biokleen and Molly’s Suds for our whole family and love them both, but I use Biokleen the most because they have it at my grocery store. 
Whatever you’re wearing will touch the baby, along with your sheets, dish cloths, etc so it’s best to use the same nontoxic detergent for the whole family, plus then you won’t have to separate loads. Also, don’t fall for anything labeled “baby”, such as Dreft, because they’re often just as toxic, if not more toxic, than most regular detergent.

I use all free and clear. I tried a sample of dreft and once I dried the clothes I literally couldn't smell a difference plus there's some not so great ingredients in it.

Anything that's marketed for babies is going to be much more expensive. I use all free & clear and everything's been fine. Use it on all my laundry, not just baby's

If you’re that worried you can make your own soap. 1c borax+ 1c washing soda (diff from baking soda)+ 1/2 bar Castile soap. The borax and washing soda can be found in the laundry aisle and Castile soap is usually in the natural bath aisle (beauty section). Chop the soap really fine then throw it in the blender then sift all three together. I’ve been making this soap for almost a year, cleans without leaving residue, and is gentle
