My 8 year old goes to her grandparents a few times during summer months while school is out. Almost every time she comes home she has a itchy rash on her chest and back, sometimes other spots too. We took her to the doctor right after she came home this last time because she had the rash again. Her doctor said it looked like a allergic reaction and told us to get some children's zyrtec for when she goes over ext time and see if it helps to rule out allergic reaction. Will zyrtec help with a allergic reaction? Will it get rid of hives and all?
