FTM to be here ,super clueless,car seat we got didn't have top canopy/shield/cover/umbrella thingy lol .can I purchase that seperately?I was afraid if I out baby in the car in that,he will not be protected from sunlight.Any advise ?

This seat is a convertible seat (rear facing, forward facing, and booster) which is made to stay in the car. They don’t have built in shades but you can buy the ones the other commenter posted for the window. (You want ones that cling like a sticker, not attach with suction cups.)
The kind that have the shade thing that you’re talking about are infant car seats (rear facing only). Those are the only kind that you can take in and out of the car with the baby still in it.

If you’re planning to use this for a newborn, the hospital may not let you leave without an infant car seat. If your child is older then you’re good to go. 
Even with the shade on the infant seat we decided to get our windows tinted because with the shade up in the car we couldn’t see baby in the mirror.

I wouldn't use this car seat until the baby is at least 1 years old. I know it says you can, but I would get an infant car seat. Safer and easier with baby.

We have this same one but had an infant seat and then switched to this one at a year. They don’t have sunshades. Only infant carriers do. This says it’s for newborn and up but I wouldnt recommend it. You can’t take this out of the car and carry baby in it like you can with an infant carrier. You also can’t put it in a stroller.

You can get sunshades that go on the windows off amazon for like £10. These are pretty good as they go over your window and you can still open them if the baby needs air :)

I love this carseat, I wish I would have gotten it sooner! My son loves it too. Just get a window shade thing and baby will be fine :). The only thing I can see maybe being tough is what you will do with baby when you go places. I love my ergo baby carrier and I plan to use that a lot :) and don't forget a stroller 😁

Its convertible so you don’t need one. Only infant seats have the canopy.
