Tampons?

I’m 5 weeks, almost 6 weeks postpartum. And I just got my period. Can I use tampons? 
I was cleared on Monday to have sex, so a tampon should be okay.. right?

I'm pretty sure if you get cleared, you should be good to use a tampon. I got cleared at 4 weeks and she said I could use tampons

I’d call and ask I would think it is might be uncomfortable at first but never hurts to at least call.
