I'm 6 weeks 4 days and I was sitting on the seat and I felt a gush and thought it was just discharge so I went to the toilet and I was covered in bright red blood. I went to out of hours as I've had 3 previous losses that all started with brown spotting that got worse. This time it was a gush, no clots, got lighter and now is just brown discharge. I've to wait to have an early scan but apart from a mc what can cause a bright red gush of blood
