To those taking the Mini Pill

If you take/took the mini pill for a while, did your periods line up with the packs, or were they somewhat random like a normal period? Just wondering cause mine have never lined up, so wondering if that means I’m part of the percentage that still ovulates on it? I’m not talking about mid cycle spotting either cause I know that can be common on it. Thanks!
