My brother and I went through some rough things last year. I got really depressed and almost committed suicide. My bf called 991 & I was sent into a mental institution for a day! My parents were pissed and so was I, I chose to forgive him and we've moved on, he's even apologized to my parents about the situation. But what I really want to know if I'm crazy or desperate for loving a guy who did that to me?

Pissed at someone who was trying to save your life? Sounds likes something you should be thanking him for... For caring enough to not let you harm yourself.

I'm confused about what happened. It sounds like you're pissed at your boyfriend for trying to get you medical help after a suicide attempt? If that's the case then it sounds like he did the right thing, not sure what the issue is, or if I'm missing something

Who did what to you? Saved ur life? I'd b pissed off at my parents for being mad at a dude that saved my life. I think u shud let him go bc sounds like he deserves better then a crazy family smh u may need to go talk to a therapist n work out where ur mind is at

You and your family should be thanking him! You admitted it yourself that you were suicidal. Just what the actual....??? Most people wouldn't stick around in that case because it's scary so you are blessed that you found a guy who has stuck by you. And you're on here asking strangers whether you should leave him? I can't....
