Never had this before wasn’t sure

I missed my period on the 20th ended up starting today. But it started out very brown with a little red but now it’s bright red and has like egg white discharge in it and little clots. Why is it doing this?? Bad pains in lower back. Pain is bad in back I could cry. Any opinions???
