Why did you decide on formula feeding?

Mine was a combo of mental health issues (2 under 2) and the hormones made me get so mad when my toddler would do something she wasn’t supposed to plus my stopped latching after like a week out of nowhere so I decided to formula feed him and ever since then my mental health is back to normal and enjoying motherhood so much more. My daughter was formula fed from the start though after even the lactation consultants couldn’t get her to latch. My daughter is 19 months old now and doing great and has barely ever been sick (knock on wood) and my son is now 4.5 months old and thriving as well! It still eats me up that I couldn’t breastfeed them for longer but seeing them happy, healthy, and thriving is what matters most to me!💖💙

I decided to combo feed with breast milk and formula at 4 months because my PPA returned like it did with my first son. I am able to recognize it this time and take steps to feel better. I was nursing every 1.5 hrs during the day and what that did to my hormones was making me anxious and cry a lot and just not enjoy this stage. I have LOVED nursing until now when it’s getting to be exhausting and overwhelming. 
We started introducing formula once a day and I’ll combo nurse because I enjoy the bond at bedtime and I’m the middle of the night if he wakes. 
The pediatrician (and everyone else I talked to) said if I’m not at my best I can’t be the best for my kids and family. I’m the end, they don’t give out awards for who breast fed longer, you have to do what’s right for your situation.

I selected other since mine is multiple reasons. Under supply, mental health, he wouldn't latch. And I was overwhelmed between having a traumatic healing experience and caring for him solo, I just couldn't do it all. I feel bad but at the same time I don't.

My daughter was exclusively given breastmilk via bottle but at 7w she had severe issues with reflux and light dairy and heavy soy I consumed on a daily basis. I cannot change my diet due to gluten intolerance because I would virtually be left with fruit and vegetables only (also had had issues so that knocked a lot of veggies out)
She needs hypoallergenic formula. 
I pumped religiously until she was 8w then weaned off she has close to 800oz  in the freezer in case she can handle it later on. 
She is an entirely different baby since switching, I have zero regrets because I know she isn’t in pain anymore. It was out of my control.

My boy was diagnosed failing to thrive, so we added in a full bottle feed and combo now

I wanted to breastfeed but it hurt SO BAD when he “latched” it felt like a piranha was attached to my nipple and pumping was just as bad that’s why I formula feed
