Never had this before wasn’t sure

I missed my projected period on the 20th started today. It started out very brown and some reddish to it. And now it’s it’s bright red with little clots along with egg white discharge. Why is this? Bad pains in lower back as well. Enough I could cry!! Any opinions??? Thanks..
