When will you have your baby shower?

I had my son’s shower 2 months ahead to have plenty of time to get ready and return things if necessary, and I thought that was the perfect amount of time. I’m due Jan 31st but will prob have a scheduled c section a week before. I don’t want to have a shower too close to thanksgiving or Christmas 😭 anyone else having the same thoughts??
