Transitioning arms out?

How has the transition been for those who are now arms out overnight? My 21 week old is now rolling back to tummy and I’ve started with one arm out for day naps in the crib, and still in a love to dream swaddle at night with both arms in. I’m conscious that he will get a poor night sleep with both arms out and that they’ll just wake him up all night long....

For me, we did a gradual transition for one week and it really didn’t bother her too much. She maybe woke up one or two times more throughout the night for that week and then was okay.
But, if your baby is rolling, you have to stop swaddling now. Go cold turkey on it. It’ll probably suck for a bit, but it’s really not worth the risk.

Love to dream 50/50 was a bust for us. Bought a zipadee zip last weekend and sleep has been 100x better. She’s been able to comfortably put herself on her side and sleep yet still being confined in the zipadee zip. Worth the money on that one!!!

Did cold turkey from Halo swaddle to nothing at all while also moving her to the crib from bassinet. No issues but I also have a good sleeper (napping, not so great)

I am swaddling with one arm out and hating it. We did just the right arm for a week, then started the left last night. He keeps waking up rolling. With one arm out he’s perfectly capable of pushing up, and does. I just got a zippity zip. So we will see how that goes. He’s only used it for naps which don’t go well right now unless he’s being held. This sleep thing is getting rough. My baby used to be such a great sleeper. 😩😴

We went cold turkey from a sleepsack swaddle to just a sleepsack. It was a little rough at first but got better after a few days. We started on a Friday with the first nap and by Monday night she was sleeping fine.
