Hoping to get some suggestions on what to do... I started birth control (Alyacen 1/35) about 2 1/2 weeks ago to help control heavy/irregular periods but it is making my cystic acne worse! It hurts just to touch any part of my face. I’ve always had cystic breakouts but never this extreme. I’ve made a dermatologist appointment but it’s about a month out.😕 I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to help control these breakouts until then. Posted below is a picture of my daily skin routine and some of the worst spots on my cheeks. (Sorry for the bad pics-super hard to get a good angle) thanks in advance!
