Need sleep

So it is currently 3:22am here in Texas and being up this late has become a routine for me. It’s not bc I choose to stay up this late, but I simply cannot sleep. If I’m lucky, I’ll fall asleep around 11pm but I’ll wake up around 4-5am and won’t be able to go back to bed til sunrise, which often results in me waking up super late. My question to everyone is what can I possibly do to get a good night sleep? I am aware of NyQuil and pills that will induce drowsiness but I am afraid of becoming dependent on them.
