Norethindrone/norethisterone to delay period?

Hey everyone!! My doctor is prescribing me a “period delay pill” that I am taking starting monday to delay my period due on Thursday.  I have a vacation with my long distance boyfriend starting Friday, so that’s why I’m getting it.  Any experience taking this kind of pill?  I’m not sure what to expect.  Does it really work?

Did it end up working for you? I have been thinking about doing the same to delay my period. How was your period after you finished the 10 days?

I’m on Norethindrone and I still get my period right on time every month
