My sons Angel got to see him today!

I am writing this with tears of happiness.. Today was my Husbands family reunion. He has 3 cousins that are nurses. 2 of those cousins were in the delivery room when our son was born. He was born at 27 weeks. Our son was brought out of my womb alive but once his umbilical cord was cut, he stopped breathing and his little heart stopped beating.... the Dr tried for 20 minutes to revive him and gave up but one of the multiple nurses in there decided she wasn't gonna let our son die.. This nurse was my husbands 3rd cousin. She continued CPR for 20 more minutes with tears running down her face and was able to get his heart beating again! This woman is so special to us. She really is an angel. I firmly believe if we had gotten there a shift change earlier or later our little boy wouldn't be here today. He is 1 year old and this is only the 2nd time she has gotten to meet him since he was born. When I came up to the family with him she made her way to us with tears in her eyes.. My father in law started crying and so did I. She pulled him out of my MILs arms and my son just melted on her chest as if he knew she was his Angel.. he's never a cuddly baby and he just laid so quiet and still on her.. it blew my mind that he wasn't trying to pull her hair, smack her face or get down and made me cry even more..

This is my sons Angel. #ThankfulForNurses
