Bleeding and Masturbation

Okay so it was a couple of days after my period and I was relieving myself and when i finished, there was blood on the towel I had put under me. It didn’t look like period blood either. Though my nails have been growing out so maybe that was the cause, though nothing was hurting. Is this normal?
