Traveling husband

Any other pregnant women with partners that truck or work loooooonnnnng hours? I’m a first time mom and my work schedule is always changing but lately I haven’t been working much and I’m bored out of my mind. It’d be nice to have local mom friends but people here are not very friendly. What are some things you do to occupy your time? Knitting and sewing are getting boring. I’m not a huge tv person and I read quite a bit now but need more activities to do.

My hubs does 4 10s for work, swings and give or take an extra hour and a half for getting to and from work, that’s not including if he gets a late call or something. So sorta. 😂 I’m a tv person but that does get boring. I just got a Fire tablet on Prime day to pick up reading again. It’s been nice! I also have 2 other tinies to keep me busy and a house to keep up. But I also found and did little projects all around the house too when those nights get boring. Maybe there’s some painting or refinishing you can tackle?

Definitely buying more so I can enjoy this for awhile. Oh yes, it’s very challenging but I’m going to make this work and figure out things for me and LO to do to stay busy while hubby is away

I’ve done a 3 piece canvas set for each of my kiddos. I plan on doing one for this babe too when we finally name her! And yeah the sudden stop from surgery has gotta be rough. My sis is a ICU RN and for her to go from

My husband used to travel when I was pregnant with our first. I stopped working when I got pregnant, he said I didn’t ‘need to’ so I just cleaned and watched movies on Netflix/Hulu/hbo all day lol I’m so glad he switch to local driving and now having our 2nd baby

That’s where I’m headed. He tells me I don’t need to work but I’d really lose my sanity if I stayed home everyday. Idk how you did it. I’m beyond grateful to be in such an amazing position, I just have to figure out how to occupy my time and keep myself entertained. It’s been raining cats and dogs lately so I haven’t been out much

My husband works two weeks on (away from home) and 2 weeks off. I am 30w with our first child I am still working but it's my last week. I have honestly just became "obsessive" over decorating the nursery. I make so many projects for it. It does get old and boring but it will be worth it and it keeps me kinda sane. I have noticed that being away from my husband during pregnancy is a lot harder than when I'm not pregnant
