Maxi Cosi vs Britax Convertible carseat?

I have Britax now, debating returning it. I can't stand the harness straps, it's hard for me to recline it, and I can't get it tight enough. If you have a different favorite, please share. Small back seat!!!

Chose maxi cosi over Britax because it is lighter weight and fabric/canopy is better for baby in the heat where we live.

For the recline issue, the car seat needs to be outside of the car, on a hard flat surface. Put your non dominant hand next to the click tight button if you have one, apply enough pressure that you feel the seat rock forward just slightly, then pull the lever to recline in the position you’re wanting. I literally called Britax about this issue last week, lol. 
As far as the straps, they annoy the piss out of me too!!! It takes me forever to get the straps tight enough and it drives me crazy.

I can’t recommend mine enough - the Cybex Cloud z. It also reclines to lie-flat and little one also seems comfortable it in and usually falls right to sleep :)
