Subway sandwiches ???

I know you’re only allowed to eat deli meats if it’s warmed up . When they toast/warm up your bread is it safe to eat it like that? Since they did warm up the ham/turkey with the bread & cheese

Honestly, I wouldn’t worry. These days you’re more likely to get listeria from romaine lettuce or kale than deli meats.

I’ve eaten a few Subway turkey subs toasted. As long as the meat has been heated to steaming, it’s fine, and I feel like the toaster does that. You could always ask them to heat the meat in the microwave before roasting if you’re really nervous.

If eaten subway twice since getting pregnant and I just had them nuke the sandwich and then toast it and was comfortable eating it. The lady there said she gets pregnant women in asking to have the meat heated often. 🙂

I have an Italian combo I have them heat the meat before they put it in the sandwich and then toast it again. It’s steaming hot the first time they do it and the second time makes me feel better. It’s super yummy too.

Subway is like my go to for take out. I love subs and I love deli meat. 
I was told not to worry about it, we have such high protocols for our food that the likelihood of getting sick from it is rare and minimal. 
I stay away from tuna, because of the mercury, but I love my cheeses, and deli meats.

I work there and I can’t handle my insane cravings for a cold assorted sub. I gave in, in the third trimester of my last pregnancy and this time ive already given in. I agree with the post above.. before I got pregnant this time lettuce and kale in my area was recalled from everywhere .. yet im over here stressing over eating deli meats 🤦🏻‍♀️ guess we are at risk with all foods we eat technically ..
