Anyone else obsessed with testing even though you know you’re pregnant?!

Haha, I get a little obsessed. But I love seeing the line progression. Seeing a test line darker than the control is SO comforting after my ectopic. It gives me peace of mind, even just for a bit, every time I see that.

I did too but stopped testing yesterdatvat 6 weeks 1 day line was way darker than control but I've heard of the hook affect and I know if I saw that I would freak out instantly

That was me but I have to warn you. Around 6 weeks my test line began to get lighter. I panicked and googled. There's something called the hook effect. Something about the Hcg level being so high it confuses the test. You're supposed to dilute the urine and test again to see a dark line. It worked for me...and then I quit testing!!

I kept testing until 12 weeks with my son. I found out 2 days before my period was due. So, a lot of wasted money just to see those 2 lines but it just didnt seem real so I couldnt help myself after only ever seeing negative results.
