I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience and how long it took for sex to feel more normal.

I had a c-section 6 weeks ago after being in labor for 28 hours ( fully dilated and pushing for 4 hours). No tearing and c-section was not emergent. My husband and I tried to have sex for the 1st last night and it felt painful and tight despite lube and lots of foreplay.

I’ve otherwise been recovering well and have been walking and doing light exercise without any pain.

Anyone have a similar experience? How long did it take for things to start to feel more enjoyable?
