Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation wrong?

Has anyone ever had wrong results from the clearblue ovulation kit? I started testing cycle day 6 and got a “high” on cycle day 7.. I felt like it was too soon so I tried one of my old applicators from a prior month and got “low”. Tested again the following day and again got “high” on the kit I bought this month and “low” on one of my old kits.. any thoughts?

So the Clearblue Advanced Digital works by detecting a "significant rise" above baseline. The first time you use it in the cycle you are setting your baseline. That's why it tells you to use it the first time per cycle on a day your estrogen and LH are low. When estrogen rises, but no LH rise, you get a high reading. When LH rises you get a peak reading. If neither has risen a significant amount over the baseline you set you get a low reading. When you used the handle from the previous cycle you were setting a baseline for this cycle. When you set the baseline it will read low even if your LH is high enough to give you a blazing positive on a line test. 
I would say the high reading is probably right. Just keep testing and hopefully you'll get a peak soon.
