Why is it so difficult?

Little back story - we have a 14 year old. Then in 2009 we had a miscarriage at 10 weeks. Then in 2011 we had our youngest (took progesterone as soon as I found out. Took a break for quite sometime.

Fast forward: Chemical pregnancy back to back just a few months ago. Then finally got a real period (LMP July 4th) I started my Clomid on cycle day 3-5. Also started progesterone on cycle day 10 as instructed by my OBYGN. Only had some cramps (light) and on/off breast pain. Which has stopped. Tested yesterday with an .88 test and it was definitely negative.

Why is it so difficult to get pregnant again? I feel I'm out this month even though period is 3 days away still. I'm 33 years old (I know that could have a little something to do with it as I'm not in my 20's anymore). I just feel broken. Kinda reminds me of Grey's Anatomy and Meridith talking about having a "hostile uterus".

It sucks and is so discouraging.

*Got a new Ovulation kit I plan on trying if this is not our month. Ones of the Clear Blue ones you Bluetooth to your cell phone. 🤞
