Child proofing?

What products do you all use/plan to use to baby proof? I don’t even know where to start and this boy is gonna be crawling before I know it.

I never child proofed with my older son. We taught him boundries. From as soon as he was crawling he was taught not to touch cables and outlets and not to open kitchen cabinets or touch the oven etc and it worked for us. I'm hoping this approach works with this baby too.

Outlet covers, a few cord covers (only in baby room), and furniture mounts for furniture in baby room. We also put up a baby gate between kitchen and living room, and a gate to the upstairs. We did this when my now 2 year old became mobile. Nothing else has been necessary. It really depends on your house though.

I’ll probably put in outlet covers and I got rubber bumpers for the corners of the coffee table because they are sharp and it’s the main piece of furniture she’ll be able to pull herself up on when that time comes. Our place is pretty small, so she’ll probably always be within sight anyways.

If we end up baby proofing, I’ll probably use the magnetic locks.
