I lived with my ex up until my 4th month of pregnancy he is the biological father of my child. I left for the sake of my unborn child the living conditions were horrible full of bedbugs, fleas, roaches, smoke they bug bombed the house and didn't follow the directions at all was supposed to leave it for 4 hours and let it air out for two. They left it for one hour and immediately walked in and basically forced me to go in as well exposing my child to all sorts of concentrated chemicals, their water is full of chemicals and radium, there's 7 people currently living in a 4 bedroom house horrible living conditions all they do is sit around and smoke weed and their living off of 2 $400 disability checks and 1 $800 disability check that goes directly towards bills and nothing else and foodstamps they can't even afford toilet paper they use coffee filters. they don't believe in vaccinations, and they smoke around infants and children indoors and I was refused medical care because his family doesn't believe in doctors or anything I went to the ER once and found out I'm high wrisk due to my placenta detaching from it's original implantation site. I went back to my home town in Girard Kansas (he's 2 hours away in Missouri) to seek the proper medical care that I need and I'm having my first OBGYN appointment today at 14 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I'm applying for section 8 housing to get a place for me and my child but until then I'm staying with my grandfather and uncle in a three bedroom house I'm transferring my WIC over and getting foodstamps and medicaid so I'll have everything I need for my child including a room whenever I get the house. I'm applying for jobs to afford baby things even though I am on bedrest I need to pick up his slack. My mother is using drugs and he's trying to use that against me but I don't live with my mother and have only saw her once since I've been back and would never leave my child in a room with her. Can I established my full paternal rights before the child is born? What is my chance of getting full custody of my child? I'm 18 and my ex is 24. He wants 50/50 custody and I want Full.
